We want to effectively reduce the ecological impact of pet food by bringing our products into the production chain.

How?

First of all, we are fully backwards-integrated. This allows us to monitor our supply chains, select environmentally friendly produced raw materials and minimize transport emissions.

Moreover, in our pursuit of zero waste, we focus on upcycling by-products from production processes. Materials which would otherwise be discarded are transformed into valuable products. This reduces food waste and saves resources.

You will find the above icon throughout the product pages of our site to indicate our upcycled products. Side-stream products are by no means of a lower quality than the original raw material. Rather, they are highly nutritive and physiologically beneficial. For example, large volumes of side-streams occur in the production of fruit juice. The remaining insoluble plant parts are peels and other fiber-rich plant components. We source and upcycle by-products of many different processed fruit and vegetable varieties and other raw materials, each with a unique composition of dietary fiber and bioactive secondary plant metabolites.
